There is no right solution, nor will there every be a right solution to satisfy each and every stance on abortion. Like most social issues, abortion is multifaceted and complex; therefore, it requires an equally complex “solution.” Personally, I am a strong pro-choice advocate. Personal freedom is a central part of my philosophy; the right to choose what one wants to do with his or her own body is morally sound (from my perspective). I don’t believe that anyone has the right to play “God” and determine whether or not the decision to abort is ethically sound. Every situation is different. To create a generalized law about abortion is not in the best interest of the mother or child. Lastly, most pro-life advocates based their opinions from a strictly religious standpoint. This narrows peoples’ field of judgement to almost nothing.
