SCUM Manifesto

After reading the SCUM Manifesto by Valerie Solanas, I found it to be very anti-man and everything she discussed showed a deep hatred for males. She removed their attributes that make them a human being and made them seem like they were not living or toy or object. Although it can be a very entertaining read it also is very extreme and can be quite disturbing to get through. Some of her points were in some cases relatable to some extent but she did take them to extreme measures making it something someone would look at as crazy. She also discussed men who question their sexuality and beliefs and classified then strictly as drag queens, when that is clearly not the case. They are many men who are openly gay, or transgender but do not dress to the extent of drag queens. This is one example of showing her extreme classifications throughout her manifesto.
