Christine in the beginning has a very stereotypical perspective on women. She’s then visited by mythical sisters, Lady Reason, Lady Rectitude, and Lady Justice. When she’s approached by them, Lady Reason convinces Christine to create a city of ladies, only for the top women, and of course, no men.
The book has different examples of stereotypes of females and then quickly debunks the notion that women are not good enough by providing an example of a woman who proves the judgement wrong. Towards the end, Christine establishes her City of Ladies and populates it with the best women in history, literature, pop culture, etc. Her view of women has completely flipped from the beginning of the book.
