I really enjoyed this reading because I completely agree with the fact that women should have a safe place to exist. One thing that I disagreed with though is the fact that only women could be a part of the city of ladies, as women are not the only ones who suffer from sexual aggression and violence. Unfortunately though, this type of utopia, where all types of people can feel safe from threats such as these, does not exist (which is precisely why it is considered a utopia). I found it to be very important that the responsibilities for creating the city of ladies were split up between Reason, Rectitude, and Justice. Each of them had different but equally important responsibilities and the city of ladies would have been different if it had been done in any other way.
